Jackson Ballard Gallery

Jackson Ballard extracts a visual simplicity to what he sees throughout his surroundings; working from an older base point perspective that interprets artifacts of local history and gives a sense of a vivid and rich tangible culture of its people.
He translates these forms into new approaches of modern images that both connote a type of romanticism through descriptive societal stories that sometimes portray heartfelt sentiment while at the same time includes a dynamic movement and depth to his work through his bold crisp color palate, heavy brushstrokes, and a thick buildup of paint.
Jackson creates a romanticism to every day life in his artwork that expresses aesthetically descriptive scenes.  
He currently lives and works in Fredericksburg, TX.
